Workshop is a place providing a platform where science is translated into technology.

Central workshop was established in 2014 as part of All Engineering Department for imparting practical training to diploma students in the shop floor - having built up area of 300 sq. meters. The central workshop is equipped with all required equipments, machines and tools, to satisfy the curriculum and is continually updated as per the demands.

It has adequate number of technically skilled workers and faculty. It is headed by Workshop Superintendent.

Central workshop is constantly engaged in providing feasible solution to complex Engineering problems, which may include in- house design and development. It also supports researchers in making their experimental set –ups and modifications if required in existing ones.

Proper safety measures are followed in Workshop through the use of Apron, Safety Helmets, Gloves, Fire Extinguishers , etc.
